Small Cherry Wood Bowl

This small cherry wood bowl was turned out of a reclaimed cherry branch from West Sussex. It is sealed with a food-safe mineral oil and natural wax finish to keep the beauty of the wood imperfections and its natural grain and patterns. They will add an elegant touch to your table. It is perfect to serve nibbles.

Hand-wash the bowl with warm water and mild dish soap, dry washed it with a clean dishtowel, then allow it to air-dry completely before putting it away. 

Periodically rub it with mineral oil or natural wax. Don't use food-based oil like vegetable or olive oil, since these types of oils can go rancid.

Wooden items can absorb odours from strong flavours like garlic or oil and could transfer the odours and flavours to other foods. To reduce the smell, rub the wooden surface with the cut side of a halved lemon or with a paste made of baking soda and water.

With these tips, your wooden kitchenware should last a long, long time.
